9th JKL Tattoo Convention Jyväskylä

This year I will be organizing the 9th Jyväskylä Tattoo & Rock Festival (JKL stands for Jyväskylä, Finland).

The convention is small, but all the feel of a big one. This year we are booking just 55 artists! But still 11 contest categories, live concerts and other acts will be there as well as a few extra surprises.

This Time, the convention will be held in one of our most known underground and metal concert venues here where we will be on two levels again this year, Ilokivi in Jyväskylä, Finland.

Contest categories are: best realistic, small and large colour, small and large black and grey, old school/ neo Trad, best graphic, best crazy, best of day Friday, best of day Saturday and best of Sunday.

Only artists that have a stand at the Convention will be allowed to take part in the competitions. Only the best of days have to be done at the show, for other categories, the tattoos can be older. Each Tattoo can be entered in just one category plus best of day if done that day at the show.

I will also be organizing a get together drink/dinner for Thursday afternoon/evening. More info about that will be added soon.

On Sunday, I will also be organising another get together for all artists, assistants and vendors who wish to join.
